Our client is a global SaaS, pioneering payments software organization with a start up feel that is scaling up. You will join a dynamic, fast-paced and highly skilled team working to maintain and improve their cloud services to support their growing product and customer base. You will play a critical role partnering with Product, Operations, and QA teams to deliver their SaaS solutions to the world
  
About the role:
An opportunity to join a local NZ branch deploying revolutionary payment technology systems globally and at a time where this technology can really help people transact through the pandemic, you’ll feel you’re not just doing a job, but really giving back.
Ideally, you would have come from a .Net Core development background and been transitioning into a DevOps role, so not afraid to do some development or API tweaks.
  
Key responsibilities include:
  • Responsible for frameworks and tools to build, test, and package the company's SAAS software through development, stage, and production environments
  • Spinning up customer environments
  • Enjoys automation and creation, monitoring tools, and developing tools to improve efficiency, keeping secure systems, adhering to security compliance, and abstracting the complexity
  • Develops, and maintains the tools to simplify the life-cycle of their cloud service in multiple environments from build to roll out
  • Integrates and supports monitoring applications to provide insight into application state, health, access/intrusion control, and logging/traceability
  • Helps the product team provision and deploys customer services/instances on the cloud
  • Implements IT policies to adhere to security compliance and audits
  • .Net Core development background / code fixes / API tweaks
Skills & Experience required:
  • Experience of working in an IT/DevOps role
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Able to handle sensitive information and maintain confidentiality
  • Able to multitask and manage changing priorities
  • Some relevant experience in a Developer, DevOps or System Admin role, ideally .Net Core experience
  • Hands-on experience working with cloud infrastructure and services, preferably Azure (or similar AWS or GCP experience)
  • Experience designing and implementing tasks in CI/CD pipelines and tools (Azure DevOps, GitLab, Jenkins)
  • Experience with Containers & Container Orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes, Helm)
  • Knowledge or experience implementing IT policies for security and privacy compliance (SOC, PCI, etc).
